10/19/2023 0 Comments Awa kava bar![]() That they used to have 200 vendors and there was no cover fee. That people from different islands would come here on Wednesday night just for this event. We stayed outside and roamed a little bit, and we talked to a person who told us that this was the IT event before covid. However they said no, that food wasn't ready yet, that it would take more than an hour, and they would have to allow all the people that paid to go in front of me in line. We were mainly there for all the local vendors. We asked if we could just buy a plate of food and leave Since we had a long drive ahead of us and it wasn't what we expected at all. They're still a lovely live band, and I believe you can bring your own booze or buy some,And I hear there's some pretty good native Hawaiian food.However I'm pregnant, and my husband doesn't drink, so it just seemed like we were playing a cover price to go into a bar where we couldn't drinks We got there around 6:40pm, Parking is a little shady. However after driving 3 hours there, we were very disappointed because of the $20 cover charge and 0 vendors. ![]() We've never been there, and all we read were the positive reviews of how amazing this place is when the live bands (who plays Hawaiian sounding Island music) and the tons of vendors. I would highly encourage you to call and see if it's back to the way it was before covid. ![]()
