I think this product will work well for those with dry skin, since it is hydrating - however keep in mind it must be set to truly perform.So. This product does work when baking, but once again, the amount of hydration does not really work well with my oily skin. When I used this product without setting it, my under eyes creased badly and were an oily mess. It did look well in pictures as well and I did not notice any flashback, which was a plus. I did need to set this concealer with loose setting powder for it to stay put and not crease, especially with my oily skin. It's definitely opposite from Shape Tape. This concealer has great coverage and provides a dewy, hydrated finish, however it is very thick. Sometimes with larger applicators, it's easy to get out of hand and apply too much. I really enjoy the skinny applicator, making it easier to control the amount of product you want to apply. When I first used this concealer, I didn't know what to expect. ![]() When swatching this, I noticed that the concealer was on the dewy side, similar to the Kylie Cosmetics Skin one. Tarte previously released these concealers in a squeeze tube.Īccording to the Tarte Cosmetics website, the formula is vegan, waterproof, full coverage, hydrates the under eyes for 16 hours and has Vitamin C. This product has a skinnier applicator compared to the Too Faced one. In the Tarte Creaseless Concealer, I chose the shade fair light neutral. The coverage is truly incredible and my under eyes felt comfortable and did not feel dry at all. As a result, I feel this product works best when set. I baked my under eyes on another occasion and liked the outcome as well. however I did notice some creasing, since I had not set the concealer. On another occasion, when using this product, I did not set it, and went out in the humid weather. I have a picture on my IG using the product. With a photo test, I did not notice any flashback. Most importantly my under eyes looked natural, not cakey, while being very full coverage. The first time I used this, I did set my under eyes with Laura Mercier setting powder, but did not bake and the product stayed put. For instance, when I sometimes use Shape Tape, I feel my under eyes get a bit dry and with this Too Faced formula, I felt they were hydrated. The super coverage claim definitely did not lie.Ĭonsistency-wise, it felt a bit thicker than the Tarte Shape Tape but much lighter on my under eyes, if that makes sense. When I first applied the product under my eyes, I noticed that a little certainly went a long way. The Too Faced concealer has a large doe foot applicator, similar to the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation. In the new Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer I chose the shade Vanilla for my skintone. ![]()
